WCAG accessibility
We design and fix websites to WCAG 2.2, so that everyone can use them comfortably, including with a screen reader, a keyboard alone or enlarged text.
Let's talk about your project
The latest guidelines, put into practice.

WCAG 2.2 is the current version of the W3C guidelines and, since 2025, also the ISO/IEC 40500 standard. Since 28 June 2025 the European Accessibility Act has covered services such as online shops and consumer banking. We design new websites to level AA from the start.
Design that follows WCAG 2.2
Contrast, clear headings, a visible focus and field labels are part of the design from the first sketch, not a fix at the end. We also cover the criteria added in version 2.2: targets large enough to tap, focus that a sticky header does not hide and a sign-in that lets people paste a password.
Audit of an existing website
We test the site with automated tools and by hand: with a keyboard alone, a screen reader (such as VoiceOver) and at up to 400% zoom. Each issue comes with its WCAG success criterion, where it appears and how to fix it.
Fixes and ongoing checks
We remove barriers in the code and content, starting with those that block a contact or a purchase. As part of website care we make sure new pages and updates do not bring them back.
From an audit to an accessible website
We start with the paths your customers use most. Then we fix and check again.
Review
We test the menu, forms, cart and checkout: with tools, a keyboard and a screen reader.
Fixes
We fix the code, contrast, labels and alternative text, starting with barriers that block a contact or a purchase.
Second check
After the changes go live we test the site again and keep it accessible in later updates.
Questions and answers
Does my business have to meet accessibility requirements?ExpandCollapse
It depends on your sector and size. Since 28 June 2025 the European Accessibility Act has covered consumer services such as e-commerce, retail banking and e-books. Microenterprises providing services (fewer than 10 people and up to EUR 2 million in annual turnover or balance sheet total) are exempt, and public bodies follow separate rules. Confirm your legal obligations with a lawyer; we take care of the technical side.
Which version of WCAG should we follow?ExpandCollapse
WCAG 2.2 at level AA. The European standard EN 301 549, which the regulations refer to, is based on WCAG 2.1 in its 2021 version and on WCAG 2.2 in its new version (V4.1.1, published in September 2026). WCAG 3 is still a W3C working draft, so it is not yet a reference point.
Is an accessibility widget enough?ExpandCollapse
No. Overlays that enlarge text or change colours do not fix the website's code: screen readers and keyboards still run into the same barriers. That is why we fix the website itself.
